The Hurricane

"When desire takes you by storm."

Font Size

Storm clouds strengthen and spin toward the shore
My quiet footfalls approaching your bedroom door

Growing in intensity from the pressures within
These insatiable desires seeking carnal sin

The trees bend and sway as the winds pick up speed
Your body rocked in my arms, understanding my need

The surf roars and crashes, pounding the shore
Your voice carried on the wind whispering “more.”

With unrelenting gales and torrential rain
I ravage your landscape again and again

Unexpectedly found within the storm’s eye
In a moment of pause you contentedly sigh

The tempest unabated, it once again peaks
From the depths of desire, no shelter we seek

Urgently spinning, consuming all in its path
Selfishly helping myself to all that you have

The rain no longer falls, these winds will subside
Tangled and spent, together we lay side by side
