Halloween fell on Friday that year. The weather had been unseasonably cold, and the weather reports hinted that there was the possibility of snow, but it was not until late that night. Gwen had texted Patti to ask if they could postpone the dinner. She didn’t want to come over and have to walk back to the dorm in the dark in a snowstorm. Patti offered to let Gwen stay the night or the entire weekend if it did happen to snow. She also told her she had an all-wheel-drive vehicle and could take her back to the dorm whenever she wanted to go. But, ultimately, it was her decision. Gwen thought about it more than she probably should have, but since Patti wasn’t that far from the campus and the snow was a low probability, she decided to take the risk and bring an overnight bag just in case. She didn’t want to pass up the opportunity to dress up in one of Patti’s period dresses.
Late Friday afternoon, Gwen arrived at Patti’s house around four. Patti greeted her with a hug and then showed her upstairs so she could leave her bag. Patti had put fresh sheets on the bed in case Gwen decided to stay the night, which she hoped she would. The dress Gwen was going to wear was hanging in the closet. On the floor were heels in various sizes Gwen could wear if she wanted to. Patti suggested an early dinner, and then they could dress afterward and maybe put their hair up to complete the look.
Before going downstairs, Gwen asked her host if she could see the dress Patti was going to wear. Patti smiled and told her she could, then took her by the hand and led her to the main bedroom, where the dress and shoes were out, ready to wear. The dress was similar to the one Gwen was going to wear but a little less formal. Gwen looked it over and was impressed. “We’re going to be the best dressed hostesses ever, Patti.”
Patti smiled and replied, “Oh, I don’t know. I think you’ll outdo me, sweetie. Plus, some of my neighbors dress up. You’re welcome to go look if you want. I can hand out candy while you’re checking them out.”
Gwen grinned, “This is going to be so much fun. Yes, let’s eat, I’m excited and want to get changed and see your neighbors.”
Patti laughed. “You’re cooking, so get your cute little butt down there and impress me. I’ll show you where all the pots and pans are.”
Gwen giggled, then replied, “Yes, ma’am. I sure hope we get some trick-or-treaters. I want to show off that dress and see what your neighbors come up with.”
Gwen hurried out of the bedroom as Patti sighed, wanting her in so many ways. She briefly thought she was getting too familiar and flirty with Gwen, but Gwen didn’t seem to mind and she sort of flirted back. Maybe she was overthinking it, and it was all innocent, but she reminded herself to take her time and not rush. A wrong move or misinterpreted suggestion could open up a can of worms and perhaps cost Patti her job, her reputation, and probably her house.
When Patti arrived in the kitchen, Gwen had already located the pots and pans necessary to make dinner. Patti had cut the squash into halves earlier to save time, and Gwen seemed to know what she was doing. So, Patti sat at the kitchen table to watch as Gwen made their supper. As she watched, Patti began asking more personal questions regarding Gwen’s family and her upbringing. Gwen answered her questions, telling a couple of stories. Then Gwen asked about Patti’s family and upbringing. Patti told a couple of stories about her early life, which greatly interested the young woman.
It took Gwen around ten minutes to prepare the squash and another thirty minutes to cook it. Patti debated serving wine with their meal and opted for sparkling cider instead. They continued their chat during dinner, learning more about each other. The squash was delicious, and Patti thanked Gwen for the idea and for making the dinner. Gwen thanked Patti for being so nice to her and buying. They finished doing the dishes and then went upstairs to change.
When Gwen had finished changing, she entered Patti’s bedroom since the door was wide open to get some help with the zipper again. After entering the large bedroom, Gwen looked around, noticing Patti, who was just putting her dress on. She stopped in her tracks and watched her older friend eyeing herself in the mirror and adjusting the fit of her bra. The lime green lingerie she was wearing looked amazing on her mature figure. Gwen stood there gawking until Patti changed her view in the full-length mirror, noticing Gwen standing there.
Patti exclaimed, “Oh. Gwen, you startled me. How do I look?”
Gwen replied, “Oh, I’m sorry, Patti. The door was wide open, so I didn’t knock. I’m sorry. I didn’t realize you were going to wear such nice lingerie under. It looks great against your skin and contrasts nicely with your hair. You look fantastic.”
Patti smiled, then replied, “Thank you, Gwen. I like to feel nice under these old clothes, sorry. I know nobody will see it, but it feels yummy to me. You got dressed faster than I thought you would, sweetie. Would you mind zipping me up? I thought about wearing a corset, but it really wouldn’t go with this dress, and they can be so uncomfortable.”
Gwen woke from her daze and then moved closer to zip Patti’s dress. With that completed, she turned to allow Patti to do hers, lifting her long blonde locks out of Patti’s way. They decided to just put their hair up, nothing fancy, just in loose buns. With that taken care of, they headed downstairs to get the candy and wait. When Gwen saw the amount of candy Patti had purchased, she was surprised. Patti explained that they get minivans packed with kids, and trick-or-treating usually doesn’t end until around nine.
Since it was still fairly early, Patti suggested Gwen go ahead and visit a few houses close by that she knew the hosts dressed for the occasion. Gwen thanked her, making a mental note of the addresses, then slipped into some rubber boots along with a heavy coat Patti had by the front door, hiked up her dress to avoid getting it dirty, and then went out.
Gwen was gone for about thirty minutes, and when she returned, she was giddy. “Oh my god, Patti! Your neighbors are the coolest people ever! They were all dressed up, and they thought I was trick or treating. I told them I was helping you. So, we talked for a bit, and they all said I was welcome to stop by and tour their houses whenever I felt like it!”
Patti stood there smiling, helping Gwen get out of the heavy coat and then hanging it up. She enjoyed Gwen’s reaction and told her, “I’m glad you met them, but I see some kids heading our way, sweetie. Do you want to go first?”
Gwen calmed down, then looked out the big bay window to see a hoard of children walking down the sidewalk with their parents. She quickly grabbed the candy bowl and waited anxiously for the first knock.
The stream of children lasted until around eight that evening. Gwen had never seen so many kids dressed up and in such a variety of costumes in her life. The large amount of candy Patti had was down to half a bowl when Patti decided to turn out the front porch light around eight fifteen, not having seen any trick-or-treaters for the last ten minutes. When she looked outside, Patti could see random snowflakes falling through the bare trees in front of her house. She turned to Gwen and asked if she wanted to stay the night or head back to the dorm. Gwen peeked outside to see the falling snow getting thicker and beginning to accumulate on the lawn. She turned to Patti and said, “Well, I don’t want you to get in an accident. I know you’re used to driving in this, but I think I’ll stay the night and see what it’s like in the morning.”
Patti smiled and replied, “I think that’s a good idea. Let’s get out of these dresses and into our jammies. I’ll light a fire, and we can sit and chat. I’m going to have a glass of wine. Would you like one also? I know you’re not twenty-one yet, but you’re not driving anywhere, so?”
Gwen smiled, “I’m actually beat from handing out candy. I’ll have a glass just so you’re not drinking alone. I do love this dress, but jammies sound much more comfy in front of a fire. I’ll meet you back down here, okay?”
Patti grinned, “Sounds like a plan. I’ll start the fire, sweetie.”
Gwen left Patti and headed upstairs to change. She hung the dress up, put on her flannel pajamas, slipped into her fuzzy slippers, and then went back downstairs. Patti had poured two glasses of white wine and had left them on the kitchen table. The fire was starting to grow in the old fireplace thanks to a quick-start log Patti had lit before going upstairs to change. When she returned, Gwen was lounging on the sofa, her bare feet propped up on the coffee table, watching the flames dance as she sipped her wine.
Patti had changed into similar attire, flannel pajamas, and some comfy slippers. She sat down near Gwen after retrieving her glass from the coffee table where Gwen had left it. Patti took a sip, then turned to Gwen and asked, “Did you have fun tonight, sweetie?”
Gwen had been watching the fire, and thinking, she turned to look over at Patti, then said, “Yes, it was a lot of fun. Oh, I forgot, I was going to say something when I got back from the neighbors. They said you have a collection of period outfits. Can I see them sometime?”
Patti smiled as she answered Gwen, “I’m glad you enjoyed yourself. I loved watching your expressions greeting the kids. Of course, you can see my collection; they’re down in the basement. I have an insulated area that I keep them in. It’s like the biggest walk-in closet you’ve ever seen. Dresses, shoes, corsets, hats, accessories. I bet some of those people you talked with were wearing things I’d given them.”
Gwen giggled, replying, “I think I was born in the wrong century. I love the architecture and clothes. I don’t know what you’d call it, but my mother said I was nostalgic, but I’ve never lived in the past. She used to kid me and tell me I was a reincarnated princess. I don’t know.”
Patti scooted closer, then laid her hand gently on Gwen’s thigh and told her, “You might have been a princess, Gwen. It’s nice to look back. Some of those eras were great and some not as much. Being here and now is what matters. I’m glad you’re here; we’re a lot alike in our interests, and I love sharing them with you.”
Gwen’s glass was just about empty when she replied, “May I have another, Patti? I don’t usually drink, but this is very yummy.”
Patti replied, “As long as you bring the bottle back. I may have another also. Just don’t tell anyone you were drinking here. I could get into a lot of trouble.”
Gwen stood and grinned at Patti when she teased her by saying, “I won’t, Aunt Patti; it’s our little secret.”
Gwen winked, then scooted to the kitchen to get the bottle. Patti bit her lower lip and hoped she’d control herself. Gwen was too adorable not to seduce, and the way she was teasing made her much more desirable.
When Gwen returned, she refilled her glass and topped off Patti’s. She left her slippers on the floor, then curled her legs under herself, turning to look at Patti. “I know this may sound silly, but is there some way I could live here without going through a tragedy?”
Patti felt her pussy tingle when Gwen asked. She replied, “I’m sorry, honey. There’s no way you could live here without some misfortune at school. I’d love it if you did live here with me. But I wouldn’t allow you to live here if you dropped out or flunked out. I want the best for you, and that means there will be no tragedy, okay? From what I hear, you’re doing fine at school. You’re always welcome, and you know that.”
Gwen sighed, sipped her wine, and replied, “I know. I’ll be good and stay in school. I just love being here. I thought you’d say that, and it’s fine. I guess I’ll just visit you until you get tired of me.”
Patti grinned, then said, “I doubt I’ll get tired of you, Gwen. I think it’s the wine talking right now. I wish you could live here too. But we have rules to follow. Tomorrow, after breakfast, I’ll show you my collection in the basement. How’s that sound?”
Gwen smiled as she said, “I’d love that, thank you. Sorry, I rarely drink, so yeah, it’s probably the wine. Oh, I do have swim tryouts next week. I’ve been practicing when I have time. I’ve missed swimming, and it’s no fun to run in the cold. I kinda miss my family, too. You know this has been such a change for me. But I’m glad you’re my counselor, Patti. You’ve made my first year away from home much better than I thought it would be.”
Patti smiled, “Missing your family is normal, and I’m glad I’ve made you feel comfortable. I’m proud of you for trying out for the team, and I hope you make it.”
The room felt silent as they sipped and looked into the flames of the fireplace. Patti wanted to scoot closer, take the glass from Gwen, and comfort her, but she knew better. Could it be she was falling for the younger woman? She’d never done that before with the girls she seduced, and she wondered what made Gwen so special, maybe because she reminded her of herself at that age. Patti sighed, then looked over at Gwen, who had set her glass down and was slowly drifting off to sleep, her head back against the sofa.
Patti finished her wine, then eased herself from the sofa. She took the glasses and bottle back to the kitchen and put them away. When she returned, she gently woke Gwen and escorted her upstairs. Patti turned the nightlight on in the bathroom as Gwen got ready for bed. Before they said goodnight, Gwen asked Patti if she could hug her. Patti smiled, opening her arms to embrace the younger woman. Gwen wrapped her arms around Patti, then, as they broke their hug, gave her a quick kiss on the cheek. Patti briefly thought about wrapping the young woman in her arms and taking her to bed, but she refrained. Instead, Patti blushed as Gwen headed to the bathroom to brush her teeth and finish getting ready for bed.
Patti sighed, then retired to her room, got herself ready, and then slipped between the covers. She lay staring at the ceiling, imagining Gwen naked, happily nursing away on her breasts before moving lower and pleasing her. When she figured Gwen was asleep, Patti eased her hand between her legs as she continued the fantasy, picturing sweet Gwen and bringing herself to an intense orgasm.
Saturday morning, Patti was up at her usual six o’clock. She showered to make sure she didn’t smell like sex, dressed and then peeked in on Gwen, who was sound asleep, breathing quietly in her bed. Silently, Patti headed downstairs to make her tea and decide what to do for their breakfast. As the water was coming to a boil, Patti looked out the kitchen window into the backyard. Despite being dark out, she could see that the small yard was white, covered in a blanket of snow. It looked so peaceful and serene that Patti lost herself in thought, imagining life with Gwen living there until the tea kettle announced that the water was boiling.
Patti shut down the burner and then poured the steaming water into her cup, watching as the infuser filled and the aroma of the Gardenia Puer rose to greet her. She removed the infuser, placed it on a dish next to the stove, and then went out to the living room to sip and think. Checking the weather on her phone, she was surprised that they had gotten around two inches of snow the previous night. However, it was expected to be gone by the evening. She shook her head and muttered to herself that they’d probably get that wrong, too.
Putting down her phone, Patti’s thoughts once again turned to Gwen and how to deal with her. It had been over two years since she seduced one of her students, and then it was more of a mutual attraction than a one-sided seduction. Amber was an unfocused young woman who had already lost her girl cherry to a friend of her mother. Patti became a substitute for that mature love and attention Amber craved. Patti’s influence helped Amber focus on the things she really enjoyed and made her college career a successful one.
She had invited Amber for Thanksgiving dinner this year, telling her she was welcome to stay at the house. It coincided with homecoming, which Amber never missed. She’d been a cheerleader and a sorority girl and was a devoted alumni. Patti wasn’t too surprised when Amber replied, asking if her girlfriend, Darcy, was welcome. Patti expected to see an older woman when Amber sent a text showing off her lover, a girl about the same age as Amber and just as lovely.
Patti replied that Darcy was welcome also. Patti didn’t have any students living with her, and they could share a room if they didn’t mind the double bed. She also mentioned there might be an occupant in the other student room, but they hadn’t confirmed yet. Amber replied that they didn’t mind and thanked her with emojis of hearts and kisses. Patti hadn’t invited Gwen yet, she was waiting to see how Halloween went. She figured Gwen could use some company over the holiday, so when Gwen joined her that morning, she’d invite her.
It was still an hour until sunrise when Patti finished her tea. She heard a door close upstairs, figuring Gwen was up and probably taking a shower. She hoped the young girl wasn’t hung over and admonished herself for not suggesting Gwen drink some water before going to bed. When Gwen walked into the kitchen, she was still in her flannel jammies. She was surprised to see that Patti had dressed and was ready for the day.
When Patti turned to greet her, she explained that alcohol gets her overheated when she sleeps, so she took a shower and dressed. Gwen giggled and then offered to get dressed also, but Patti told her to relax and have breakfast first. Patti nodded at the big sliding glass door and told Gwen to take a look outside. Gwen hurried to the glass slider to gawk at the snow. Patti giggled when the young woman exclaimed, “Wow! It really did snow!”
Patti giggled, “It certainly did. Why don’t you have a seat while I heat some water.”
Gwen had a coy look on her face as she replied, “Yes, ma’am. I’ve seen snow before, in case you were wondering.”
Gwen sat at the kitchen table and watched as Patti got the kettle ready for more tea. She asked Gwen if tea was all right with her. She smiled and said it was perfect. Then Gwen apologized for getting a little emotional the night before. Patti walked over and sat near her, telling her it was perfectly fine and she had no reason to apologize. Gwen thanked her and asked what they were having for breakfast. Patti smiled and rattled off a list of things she had available, then got up and opened a cupboard. She reached in and pulled out a small ‘to go’ box and sat it in front of Gwen.
The young woman had a puzzled look on her face as she opened it. When she saw what it was her expression changed from bewilderment to glee as she lifted the cupcake with the maraschino cherry on top out and set it on the table. “Oh my god, Patti! Would you do the cherry thing again? Please! I thought about getting a jar of cherries so you could teach me, but I forgot.”
Patti smiled, then snatched the lone cherry off the cupcake and popped it into her mouth. Seconds later, she dropped the stem, complete with a knot, on the table in front of Gwen. The girl picked it up, examined it, and then said, “Wow!”
Patti giggled, then asked if she’d made a decision for breakfast. Gwen thought for a few moments, then decided on yogurt and fruit. She told Patti she’d share the cupcake with her since she neglected to do that when they first met at the little cafe. Patti declined, but Gwen insisted, so Patti caved, and after tea, yogurt, and fruit, they split the cupcake.
When they finished eating, Patti invited Gwen to dinner on Thanksgiving. She briefly described the other six people she’d invited: two of her neighbors, a former student and her girlfriend, a professor, and one of her current students.
The neighbors, Cliff and Julie Balboa, lived at the end of the block. They were in their fifties and had been living in the house for close to twenty years. Julie was a lawyer and dabbled in painting. Cliff was a financial advisor. Patti had a few accounts Cliff managed for her and Julie had painted a couple of portraits Patti had hanging in the house.
Amber Dean was a former student, she was a cheerleader, majoring in sports medicine. She joined Delta Kappa sorority and lived in the sorority her senior year. When she graduated she moved away and became a physical therapist and now owns her own clinic. Patti didn’t know much about Darcy, Amber’s girlfriend. Just that she and Amber had been together about a year and that they had met at a dance club.
Alan Fisher was in his late fifties and a professor of history at the university. He’d helped Patti research the houses in the neighborhood and was on the historical preservation committee with the city.
Greg Peterson was one of Patti’s current students. He was a junior majoring in economics.
After mentioning who would be attending dinner, Patti asked Gwen if she’d like to join them. Gwen didn’t have to think and said she’d love to have Thanksgiving with them and Patti. She was planning on going home over Winter break, and from what she heard in the dorm about Thanksgiving there, it didn’t sound too appealing. So, she really appreciated the invitation.
As they continued talking and sipping their tea, Gwen asked more questions about Patti’s guests. Patti answered as best she could without getting too personal when it came to Amber. Patti even invited Gwen to stay at her house that weekend. She had four tickets to the homecoming football game, so she figured Gwen, Amber, Darcy, and herself could go as a group. Amber and Darcy had already committed, so it was up to Gwen. Otherwise, Patti would invite Greg.
Gwen jumped at the offer of staying the weekend and the football game, much to Patti’s delight. She couldn’t come over until Thanksgiving day because she had committed to having dinner with her friends Wednesday night, who were leaving early Thanksgiving morning to be with their families. Gwen asked what she should bring to the dinner, and Patti told her just a smile and her sweet disposition. Gwen could feel the blush in her chest as Patti continued talking. She said none of the students or travelers needed to bring anything. All the food was being prepared by Patti, Alan, Cliff and Julie. If Gwen wanted to contribute, helping out in the kitchen and playing hostess, that would be perfect.
Patti asked Gwen if she wanted to stay the rest of the weekend since the snow was supposed to melt by the afternoon. Gwen wasn’t sure. She didn’t bring anything to study. But she had plenty of clothes to change into if she needed them. Patti suggested they walk around the neighborhood, and she could ask questions or just enjoy a weekend relaxing. Gwen thought that was a great idea and also mentioned the massage table in the basement.
Patti suggested when Gwen got dressed, and there was no rush. They could go down there and look at the clothes and find the table to see what kind of shape it was in. They chatted for a little longer, and then Gwen went upstairs to change.
When Gwen returned, they headed down to the basement. Patti started looking for the massage table and found it behind a bunch of boxes. It was in bad shape; the hinges were rusted, and the legs corroded. She apologized to Gwen for letting it get in such disrepair. Gwen was a little disappointed, but when she saw how big the clothes storage area was, she quickly forgot about the table. Patti unlocked the door and then switched on the light. The room was much warmer than the rest of the basement, being well-insulated and heated.
Gwen wandered around, looking at the hanging dresses, boxes of shoes, and drawers of accessories. Patti stood and watched, smiling as Gwen oohed and awed at all the well-kept treasures. When Gwen turned and looked back at Patti, she blushed.
Gwen was beaming when she spoke, “Oh my gosh, Patti. I feel like a little kid on Christmas morning. Before you say it, I know these aren’t presents to go through, but when you get them out for the tours, can I help?”
Patti grinned, “Of course you can, sweetie. I always need help deciding. It depends on what theme I’ve dreamed up. I’m heading back upstairs; that tea is working its magic. I’ll bring our dresses down so we can put them away. Please don’t open anything. I’ll be right back.
Gwen continued looking at all the items Patti had stored away. She was in awe and was tempted to open boxes to see what was inside. But Patti had asked her not to, and she didn’t want to betray her trust. She knew at some point Patti would ask her to help with the tours. So, she kept her hands to herself until Patti returned with their dresses and helped put them away. With that completed, they turned out the light, closed the door, locked it, and then went back upstairs.
The rest of the morning was spent wandering the neighborhood, looking at the houses. The snow was slowing melting as they walked along, gazing at the well-preserved buildings. Patti told a few stories, and they met more of the neighbors. They’d pause and chit-chat, Patti would introduce Gwen, and she’d ask questions. A few of the neighbors invited the pair inside because it was still cold out. But it seemed that as soon as they warmed up, they’d head back out to continue their walk. Eventually, they went back to Patti’s for lunch and to warm up. After lunch, Gwen decided to go back to the dorm to do her weekly chores and study. She promised Patti she’d stop by before Thanksgiving to help her prepare for her company.
Gwen packed her bag and then met Patti at the front door to say goodbye. This time, when they separated from their hug, Patti gave Gwen a kiss on her cheek and thanked her for helping out. Gwen felt her blush rise through her chest and onto her face as she told Patti she was glad she could help.
Patti opened the door for her and watched as she slowly walked down the steps and onto the sidewalk. Patti called out, telling Gwen to watch out for ice and to be careful. Gwen turned, looked around to be sure nobody was close enough to hear, and said, “Thank you, Aunt Patti. I’ll be careful.” Gwen winked, then turned and carefully walked back to her dorm room and her regular routine.
When Patti heard Gwen call out and wink, she nearly melted. The feeling between her legs was so intense she hurried up to her room. She stripped off her clothes, jumped back into bed, and brought herself to another wonderful climax. Gwen certainly got to her, and she wondered how long she could hold out without making a move on her. It was going to be a very long school year.
