Whilst I’m sat here on the tractor
In the middle of the grassy meadow
Couldn’t help but pick the quiver
And write a beautiful love poem
Whilst the workday is in full swing
To let my sweetheart lover
Know how much, she’s meant to me
Throughout every meaningful word.
Of the love poem, that’s written for her
With the warmth of the midday sun
That always brightens up the day
While I work outside, amongst the hedgerows
With a flutter of wings, hidden amongst the trees
A melody of birdsongs ever so beautiful
Upon the warm and soft spring breeze
That drifts across the valleys.
From one coast towards another
Across the mighty snow-capped mountains
Amongst the golden Saharan sand dunes
Through the damp murky jungles
Down a mighty Amazonian river
Over a tumbling waterfall
Towards a Siberian blizzard
Of which could be walked and swam.
Just to be with my lover
Because I see no other reason
To spend a lifetime with her
On this fine and beautiful day
Of sunshine and blue skies
With a pebbledash of cotton candy clouds
That reminds me every day
Of you my sweetheart.
