She Stopped At The Junction

"Cross roads"

Font Size

I noticed her up ahead

Gliding softly along the road

Hips swaying hypnotically side to side

Red hair catching the sun,

The slight breeze teasing and

Dancing seductively as she swayed.

She stopped at the junction and

With eyes that twinkled and

Kissable lips in the softest of smiles,

Turned to me, saying,

“I’m headed left,

Will you follow?”

Follow,

Follow me?

My heart skipped a beat

Then I remembered my horoscope this morning,

“Try not to trade your love of freedom for

 The promise of romance.”
