“So, how’s that lazy daughter of yours?”
“Patricia’s much better. She’s living with some guy, master chef, and he’s training her to keep a good house and her man happy.”
“Oh, yeah?”
“Yeah, she said he’s really cracking the whip; he’s got her slaving away, down on her knees a lot.”
“Well, good for Pat.”
“Yeah, but he must not be very bright.”
“Oh? What makes you say that?”
“He bought her a choker necklace and spelled her name Pet instead of Pat.”
“Oh? Well, as long as she’s happy, that’s all that matters.”
