Naked
In the doorway;
Her shape
Silhouetted
By the dim light
Behind her.
Her curves,
Delicate
Waves of desire,
Showing her
Contours
Like an hourglass
Striking midnight.
She coyly
Smiles
Towards me,
Then moves
Gracefully
Sweeping across
The floor.
I watch,
Patiently
As she strides
Over to the bed
Slowly,
Where I wait
With the covers open.
She slides,
Inside
Next to me,
Her nude body
Warm
So soft and silky
Beside mine.
She cuddles
Close,
Our warmth now
Combined together
Tenderly,
Sharing the moment
With each other.
My arms
Wrap
Around her in a
Loving hold,
Pulling
Her closer to me
To hold her tight.
She sighs
Gently
A sigh of happiness
As my arms envelope her
Passionately,
And we lay united
Ready for the night.
She looks
Deeply
Into my eyes,
Then kisses me
Softly
With her subtle lips
So warm.
I follow,
Returning
The gesture fondly
Pressing my lips back to hers
Firmly
So not wanting
To let go.
Then she
Closes
Her eyes,
Says, “goodnight handsome,”
Smiles
And settles in beside me
Like every night.
Wrapping her
Tighter
In my arms I say,
“Goodnight beautiful”
And we fall asleep together
Until the morning comes.
