There is a secret place,
situated at the back of my heart,
a secret door leads to a small room,
containing fragments of memories,
experiences and emotions, I hold dear,
In the times I need comfort I visit here,
Turning over each fragment
absorbing their healing properties,
Only I know the way,
Only I have the key,
This place is my sanctuary when
life‘s troubles pile up on me,
One day I might share this secret place,
But until then remains my very own.
The key is in my heart,
It will take a very special someone,
