I could write a million love poems,
But none would mean as much.
May these words catch you by surprise,
And even give you butterflies.
For what you read on this piece of paper,
Which I humbly place before you,
Words I have chosen just for you
From the deepest regions of my heart.
I wanted to express how much I care,
Because you mean so much to me.
So I write this love poem to you
Merely as a confession of my love.
Even though it may not be much,
It can be the smallest things we do
That can mean the absolute most,
I hope it brings a smile to you.
As your smile is the most beautiful
I have ever seen in my life.
It alone brightens up my day
As you are my sunshine.
Your love gives me strength to grow,
Stronger than I was before.
The fateful day you came into my life,
I’ll never forget in a million years.
You made my dreams come true,
More than anything in the world.
Every day I am beyond thankful,
Simply for you being there for me.
As I write these words down,
I could go on forever and ever
But I won’t, as it would be too much,
Since quality is better than quantity.
It may merely be a couple words,
But each one is from my heart.
I hope it brings you to your knees,
Shedding tears of happiness
As you read my love poem.
