Make A Home With Me

"Trust is another word for Love."

Font Size

Dissociate with me, lover.

I do not crave another.

I have an undying lust

For you, who has earned my trust

__

Let us build a nest

Where our souls can rest;

Listening to the sounds

Of our voices in unison,

Is hypnotic.

I am reeling,

Spinning,

Weaving

Worlds; Quixotic.

Despite the fact

That our lives are apart

By oceans

Land or Time.

I yearn to make you mine

___

Make a home with me,

A polyamorous polygon

For three, maybe four

With queerplatonic dimensions.

Hallways and bedrooms filled

With whispers and worries as

Much as moaning memories

Demanding another look

Flashbacking in our minds

Like television shadows

Glitching the gathered giggles

Of our groping and romping.

___

A balanced abode built on a

Foundation of trust that doesn’t rust;

That weathers the storms of time,

As we live next to each other

Side by side, your heart

beating, In time with mine.

___

Milestone to Milestone

Sharing air to fill the other’s next breath

Making meals to keep us strong

Against an early death.

___

Design and decorate with me.

Showing how we belong

To each other more than the world.

Together we are tie-dye tablecloths and

Wartenberg Pinwheel Wind Chimes.

Whimsical and bittersweet

Gripping the goodbye of the wind’s

Climatic and Haunting Howl

— a rattling song —

A prickly touch that wakes up so much.

___

I want to build worlds with you.

I want to see your worlds;

And show you mine too.

___

So hang your hat next to mine

As our lives align.

Our hearts,

In renewed freedom and safety,

Can bravely run amuck.

So my dear, shall we dance?

Attempt Romance?

Shall we try our luck?

And be more than friends who fuck?
