To rest in her presence
Her softness and warmth

The gentle feel of her breathing
Calm now
resting from its fevered pitch

I find contentment
as I draw your eyes to mine

out of the clouds

pulling you back down
to the ground
Where something worthwhile
is to be found
I listen to the sound

collapsing into my warm embrace
