Gossamer Hair Meets Gossamer Wings

"True love?"

Font Size

In a forest where the wildflowers bloom,

Beneath the stars and silver moon,

Tinkerbell danced with wings aglow,

While Rapunzel watched, her heart in tow.

Golden hair like rivers bright,

Tangled dreams beneath the night.

Tink’s soft laughter, light as air,

Brushed against Rapunzel’s ear.

“Come with me,” the fairy sighed,

“To where the skies are open wide.”

But roots ran deep beneath her feet,

And towers high are hard to beat.

Still, in whispers, hearts would meet,

In secret glades where no one’d see.

A touch, a glance, a fleeting spark,

Two souls alight against the dark.

But morning comes, and fairies fade,

While princesses remain, betrayed

By walls of stone and locks of gold—

A love too wild to fit the mold.

Yet in the breeze and morning dew,

Rapunzel feels that love was true.

And somewhere high, in skies above,

Tinkerbell still guards their love.
