I’m naked and alone in the dark
Watching out my hotel window at the park
I’m waiting, waiting, waiting for the right moment
My heart beats in anticipation
As I keep my station
I try, try, try to be calm and patient
Then I see a chance
A twenty something women out for a dog prance
I watch, watch, watch as she comes closer
My breathing gets shallower
My heart pounds harder
As I pause, pause, pause my finger
I flick the switch
And appear to be talking on my cell without a stitch
Bathed fully, fully, fully in light
As her dog takes a sniff and stops to pee
She catches sight of “accidentally” naked me
And stares, stares, stares in wonder without fright
For many minutes she gazes amazed
Even though her dog has finished
Her phone flashes, flashes, flashes as she captures the moment
She continues to look with a smile
Fully engrossed in the moment all the while
Then she walks, walks, walks away content
