Feel

"This poem is about that feeling you get when someone who loves you thinks of you."

Font Size

Warm, soft, smooth, Closeness, energized, erotic,

A sense of calm sweeps over me,

Yet I know not from where it comes,

But I feel.

It touches, caresses, strokes my mind,

Yet I know not where from it comes

It burns in my mind,

I can’t escape,

It has me,

Yet I know now where from it comes,

But I feel.

It moves my soul,

Stirs like a spell in a witch’s cauldron,

The feeling goes from head to toe,

Teasing, taunting my senses,

Making my heart race, skip,

My breath is taken,

Then returned fresh and new,

Yet I know not where from it comes,

But I feel.

I bask in the glow it leaves in my mind,

Not able to get enough,

I search but must wait,

Excruciatingly, needing to feel,

Yet I know not where from it comes,

Could it be your soul wondering,

Your spirit touching,

A touch so beautiful,

Could it be you that is causing all,

Could it be you I feel,

Could it be you.
