Through the cobwebs
Of unforgiving darkness.
Writhing
Under the full moon,
I slowly awoke
From a deep slumber,
Finally alive under your
Searching hands.
With you,
I soared on
Heated breaths
And whispered words.
Feathering kisses
Lit my hunger,
As your voice
Lured out
My dark secrets
And forgotten desires.
You shattered me
With understanding
And made me accept
My faults
And cherish
The haunting scars.
With your caressing words
And gentle lips,
I found serenity in your arms.
I saw myself reflected
In your eyes
And I forgave my anger
As I embraced
The lost girl inside
And treasured
The woman I have become.
I was wounded
And flightless
With a broken
And bruised heart.
The darkness of
My soul
Drowned me.
Now, all I feel
Is your need for me
Coursing through
My blood,
Heating my flesh.
Your endless kisses
Now echo
On my skin,
As you give me
A perfect silence
In a world
Dishevelled
By noise.
