There was a girl,
So beautiful and sweet
She was so mysterious
Strange like a daytime dream.
She was so remarkable,
I could see a beautiful princess
Dressed in a kimono
Covered in Cherry Blossom leaves.
She was floating down river,
Underneath a canopy
Draping either side of the river bank
Of pink and white Sakura trees.
She is so beautifully extraordinary,
As unique as a double rainbow at sunrise
She is so dreamy
As dreamy as a coastal sunset.
Her unconditional love scatters,
Over the rolling hills
Across the valleys
Like cherry blossom in a fresh breeze.
Seen in rippling waves,
Of warm spring sunshine
After the warm refreshing rain
Of a passing April shower.
She is so fantastical,
As fantastic
Like a pink rose
That blooms in the desert.
She’s like a magician,
So magical, as magical
As she makes my dreams
Come true.
Listening to the beautiful voice,
That drifts on the wind
As my beautiful princess
Sings like an angel.
As she spreads her wings,
Like a beautiful hummingbird
Flying amongst the blossoms
Collecting nectar before flying away.
Like the vanishing Sakura,
Leaving at the end of spring
My beautiful princess Sakura
She will forever be in my dreams.
