“I don’t know why I do it,” he says. “I tell myself I won’t anymore, and I keep doing it anyway.”
“You poor thing,” I tease. “You really can’t help yourself.”
“The sex in these stories is always so hot, but it stabs me in the heart to find out they’re cheaters,” he complains mournfully.
“Perhaps there is a 12-step program to help poor souls like you,” I offer. “Or here’s an idea, read stories from a different category!”
