From nightmares recurring
haunting me day and night
To dreams unrealized
In the early morning light
Those willing to hear
Are but a few
Yet they recognize and say
“Yeah, I see it too.”
To most the facade
Is all that they see
But few take the time
To know the real me.
They are the ones
I am willing to tell
And they are the ones
Who love me as well
