Each word pierced
my broken-hearted soul
Lightning struck
and burnt my last goal
°
To express
my unrequited love
Over pain
beyond the depth and
°
I was the star
forlorn in the dark sky
She was the moon
you look up so high
°
I lost my light
and flickered to a glimmer
While hers grew
full bright to glister
°
The loss of a star
is not mourned
Anyone who tried
was scorned
°
For an obscure lone star
will never be adored
Even in its lucency
and own accord
°
A comet said, “Free yourself
from the pain you’ve felt
Along with the stress
and worries you’ve dealt
°
Smile and be pellucid
for you are
If truth be told
someone else’s star.”
°
My light shall not let
anyone keep me in their orbit
I am bound to explore
beyond my prior ambit
°
Someone’s discovery
of my concupiscence
Traversed to galaxies
Warping my innocence
°
The universe shall bathe me
in an ocean of carnal desire
Let the sounds of pleasure
be the music in a choir
°
I shall be suspended
in the midst of ecstasy
Yet on earth seen and wanted
even in my testacy.
°
Here I am now,
resurrected and stellar
You can see me
yet only from afar
°
From my gleam
I scintillate in brilliance
For nothing will
Cease my resilience.
