Soft Velvet

Font Size

Candles flicker in the dark,
Casting shadows on my naked skin.

I can hear your breath in the silence,
You want to hear every gasp, every moan,
That escapes my quivering lips.

I can smell the lemon verbena
Drifting through the air,
Soothing my senses
As the anticipation builds within me.

I want to see you,
I want to watch you as you take me.
But all I can do is feel
And hear your gentle whispers.

I feel the tug of silk around my wrists,
The soft velvet covering my eyes.

I am completely exposed to you,
My body there for your taking.
But you don’t touch,
You watch.

I feel your breath against my skin
As you whisper to me,
Telling me what you want,
What you need.

You make me ache in a way
I never knew possible.
I am longing for your lips,
Pressed against mine.

I know you are watching me,
I can feel it,
Like your body speaks to mine.

I know what you want,
You want me
To beg.
