Let them wrap around you when you’re lying in your bed,
hungry for my touch.
They will whisper in your ear as you reach for yourself,
hard and swollen with need.
Close your eyes and feel them caressing your lips,
invading your mouth.
Swirling around until they escape as incoherent moaning;
a background to your lust
Feel them in every stroke, in every shiver that races across your flesh
as you lie tangled in the sheets.
Match their rhythm to the beat of your heart, the pulse of your blood
and know they were written for you alone.
Read between their lines,
where glimmers of love shine like the beads of sweat upon your skin.
And when you flash and fall, let them surround you until you calm;
soothe until you sleep.
The day will come when you no longer need my words.
Your flame burns too brightly to remain unseen.
When you hear them from another, smile and think fondly of me.
These words were given freely:
a rhetorical gift to be used as needed, no strings, no expectations.
But know that they will remain always, carved upon my heart.
A constant piece of me that will forever be claimed by you.
