Liquid Chocolate Eyes

Font Size

Her liquid chocolate eyes mesmerize; my chin on hands, my breath full of sighs,
Her husband thinks nothing amiss but I desire to give his wife a kiss,
There is smoke when our eyes meet and thoughts of being indiscreet,
A fire burns within my heart, she feeds the flames, Cupid shoots a dart,
We three talk of interesting things, the angel unfolds her lovely wings,
Her chocolate eyes mesmerize, my heart pounds, I fantasize,
I struggle to contain a few flirts, she sees through me, her smile disconcerts,
Oh, dear god of lovely torment, grant me a minute of kisses well spent,
I rip my gaze from her eyes and focus on her husband while I oxidize,
Heat, fuel, and oxygen surround my space. I dare not look upon her face,
Combustion possible, I hold my breath, while her husband pays the check.
Our eyes embrace as we say good night, smoldering eyes in the light,
Hot coals, embers bright, she feels the heat but says good night,
I pump his hand vigorously although he leaves with my destiny.
Oh, dear god of lovely torment, I deserve a bit more punishment.
Return her to me, let me agonize, over her wedding band and liquid chocolate eyes.
