I was young and foolish,
I thought I knew it all.
Men were tools for my delight.
Life was just a ball.
Then one day I met a man
Who took my breath away.
He taught me things I did not know.
I remember him to this day.
He was not tall and handsome,
And yet we formed a bond.
I loved him so, because, you see,
He had a magic wand.
When he touched me with his wand
He made my heartbeat race.
He knew just how to bring me
To a very special place.
When his wand worked its magic,
I became his toy.
He knew the special secrets
To release my inner joy.
Other men have come and gone,
Have tried to light my fire.
But none have brought me to such heights
Of passion and desire
I’m older now, life moves on
Like ripples on a pond.
But I still sigh when I recall
The man with the magic wand.
