The monster of loneliness
That lived in my bedroom
Has been banished.
Warm and full is my bed
As my love comes to visit.
Warm and full are my thoughts
As I feel your skin rest against mine.
As my fingers, dance and caress
Your sensitive places, building your pleasure,
Taking us on a journey out of ourselves,
To a place of hope, inspiration and wonder
As our bodies unite and flood our hearts
Our lives become whole
Our sleep sound and contented
But when I wake from my dream
And find you not there,
The monster growls again.
