The moment two hearts collide
On a mid summers day
With the warmth, radiates throughout
Across the vast African savannah
As we live young, wild and free
Of a freedom that cannot be bought
Nor can be won through sheer will
But gained through a love of determination.
From which a new life was created
A creation, so divinely beautiful
More beautiful than I could ever imagine
An imagination ever so wild
That’s brought words written down
On a canvas, far as the eyes can see
And brought them to life
Before my very own eyes.
Through fire and brimstone
And risen from the volcanic ashes
From a mega seismic event
That moves the tectonic plates
But changes, our world forever
That brings us together forevermore
As our hearts became one
When we fell in love with each other.
On a beautiful September day
Following the heat of a long summer
On the banks of the river Thames
In the heart, of the English countryside
With the soft refreshing rain
Against our bare skin
When we make love, on the banks
Of soft green grass, for a blanket.
Of a hundred cotton candy clouds
That disappeared, over a crimson horizon
Which brings forth a new twilight zone
Of a million twinkling stars
That shines in the beautiful blue eyes
Of the one true love, of my heart
That beats to the rhythm of her heart
When they collide and became one.
On the day, I found my true love
When you, my beautiful sweetheart
Came in and completed my life
The moment I was struck by Cupid’s arrow
On that beautiful September’s day
All those many years before
Still fresh in my memories of yesteryear
As I remember you my love.
On this St Valentine’s Day.
