As the moon glistened
Its shallow light
Cascading gently
It was there on the blanket
In my garden
In our nakedness

Climbing on me
You staked your claim
Your hunger evident

Reverberated across
The night sky
Your song of worship
That caused curtains to twitch.
There in that sacred space

worshipped
