Hidden Love

"Lesbian love poem about hidden love and the insecurities it causes."

Snuggling happily with her, as I hold her hand

Happiness and insecurities both filling my mind

I smile but silently wander a lonely wasteland

Her loving words to me, yet I feel left behind

As I look into her eyes, my heart beats swift

I love her intensely but yet a secret I must remain

With a happy heart and a sadden mind, I feel adrift

I have her attention so maybe I shouldn’t complain

I always celebrate love loudly, no holding back

Wanting to yell our love from the mountain top

She keeps it hidden, worried about friends flack

Unknowingly this secret brings me a teardrop

Maybe I am not perfect looking to the eye

But my heart overfilled with this love is true

Always there for you, never saying goodbye

Don’t hide me, allow our love to breakthrough

My heart filled with love, my mind with insecurity

Please take us out the shadows, give me tranquility
