From what could be seen; through an autumnal glow,
A beautiful crimson silhouette, from the shadows cast by the sun.
After the warmth of the summer that slowly fizzled away,
From the green fields of the English countryside
Only to be clung on in the midst of September,
During an ‘Indian Summer,’ and our love never fades.
True love found in a bountiful yield, that adorns hedgerows
Born in succulently sweet, mouthwatering blackberries.
From which takes away the damsons, bitter aftertaste,
Because our love is reminded of everything beautiful
That sets its tone from the early spring blossom
Before the landscape turns a beautiful crimson hue.
As the crimson adorns the autumnal silhouette,
With the golden hue that radiates, throughout our love
Through a kaleidoscope of orange, crimson and yellow.
On a beautiful October’s day; which never fades away,
