Gone were my words,

Such bliss was found.

I was a vessel empty for her words,

nothing else could appease my hunger.

So I tore the syllables apart,

Crunched consonants, under poor punctuation,

And let vowels hang loose,

Limping slightly, as they fluttered in the wind.

As tongue and teeth worked in harmony,

No more words,

Merely sounds,

Muttering new meanings,

Driving my ecstasy.

Filled by sounds,

Only then,
