You Never Forget Your First Love: Part 3

"Moira and Alexis take a trip to the Russian River and meet a lesbian couple."

Between our trips, Moira and I texted each other discussing the wineries we’d like to visit. I’m not much into wine, so I’ve never been to Napa or Sonoma to tour any. I let Moira make the big decisions, and I happily went along with them because I figured these trips were more for her peace of mind than mine.

My thoughts about seducing Moira came and went. Sometimes it sounded good, and at other times I felt bad about even contemplating it. If it were going to happen, it probably would be closer to our last field trip or on it. If I upset Moira, she’d probably never talk to me again. I wanted to go with her and spread Zoe’s ashes because I cared for both of them. So, I’d continue to debate a seduction until we finished.

I used the time between our trips to work and work out. My workouts became a little more intense because I needed that release, given that I had too much on my mind. While at the gym, I did meet a girl close to my age. We started talking while in the stretching area after lifting and doing cardio.

She seemed nice, and we had a few things in common. It was nice talking to her. Normally, I don’t talk to strangers while I work out. I talk to a few people I see regularly at the gym because they’ve introduced themselves. I don’t sleep with any of them because that leads to drama if things don’t work out. I try to be at least friendly, but never overly.

When our trip to the Russian River arrived, I drove to Moira’s place to pick her up. She was in a good mood and was ready to go when I arrived. On the way, we caught up, not that we’d been doing much, but it was nice to just casually talk.

Our first stop was Napa, where we limited ourselves to two wineries on our way to Sonoma, where we’d visit two more. The first place we visited was RD Wines, where we tried their Sauvignon Blanc. It was nice, and Moira bought a bottle for us to drink later on our trip. Our second stop was Domain Carneros, where we sampled a nice Pinot Noir. I bought a bottle for us to enjoy once we got to Guerneville, the night we didn’t drink the white. I prefer reds, and Moira likes the whites. We both, however, enjoyed the ones the other selected and figured we’d drink them during and after our dinners.

The next stop was Sonoma, where we toured but didn’t buy. We both decided to buy on the way back rather than load up the car with wine and have it just sitting around. Finally, we stopped in Santa Rosa to stretch our legs, then drove the last few miles to our destination. The drive along the river was nice. We took our time scouting for places to leave Zoe, which sounds strange, but that’s what we were there for.

Once we arrived at our destination, we checked in and then went to unpack. This time we brought more clothes since we were staying two nights. I also brought a daypack so we could drive around and have some food and water with us if we found a good place to relax.

For lunch, we decided to head to Jenner, which wasn’t too far away, and eat there. Moira brought a second envelope so we could leave one on the outgoing tide. We had a nice lunch, then headed to the beach for a long walk. The weather was simply amazing. Sometimes during the Summer, the coast can get fogged in, or the wind becomes unbearable. But that day was warm and sunny. We parked at Goat Rock State Beach – Sonoma Coast State Park and took a stroll along the shoreline.

There were quite a few people walking, dogs running around, and kids building sand castles. We kept going until we were away from most of the activity, and Moira decided that it would be good to release another envelope. I stood back and watched as she waded into the surf and dropped Zoe into the waves. I don’t know if we actually had an outgoing tide or not, but Zoe disappeared into the surf as Moira stood and watched. When she turned to walk back to me, I could tell she was once again on the verge of tears. I opened my arms, and we hugged for a very long time.

As we embraced, Moira whispered, “Thank you, sweetie. I don’t know if I could have done this without you.”

I sighed, longing to kiss her as we held each other. Instead, I told her, “I’m glad I was able to be here for you, Moira. Again, I think doing this is a lovely gesture.”

We remained in our embrace as a couple of dogs ran up to us, wagging their tails and expecting a treat or at least a pat on the head. They were adorable, and we left each other’s arms as their owners called them back, figuring they were annoying us. When the pups’ humans got close enough to us, we told the couple the dogs were fine. They smiled and let us pet them for a bit while we chatted. Then, suddenly, the two dogs took off to chase a pair of seagulls that had landed further down the beach.

We went our separate ways, they corralling their fur babies and us back to the car. The drive back to our cabin was quiet, each of us deep in thought. Once back, we decided to walk around town for a bit and enjoy the scenery. A few minutes into our walk, I felt something brush my arm. I looked down, and it was Moira wanting to slip hers into mine as we walked. I looked at her, and she smiled, telling me she just felt really close and if I didn’t mind. I told her it was fine, so she slipped her arm into mine, and we continued on.

Our walk was longer than I had expected. Guerneville is quaint, I guess you could say. We walked over the Guerneville bridge and down along Johnson Beach. Moira decided that we’d drop Zoe’s envelope from the bridge, which would be better than walking along the rocky shore of the river. We decided to do that after dinner the following evening. On the way back to our cabin, we did a little window shopping and browsed a few stores. One thing we did do, which Moira didn’t seem to mind, was stop at one of the gay bars in town. I’ve been to a few clubs, but I don’t care for that type of scene, gay or straight. This place was cute and VERY gay, and it seemed like Moira was comfortable being there.

Moira had never been in one, and the one we visited had a few couples enjoying themselves, playing darts, pool, and just having a good time with their friends. We got mistaken as a couple by the server, which made Moira blush, but it delighted me and sparked a long conversation between us about age gap relationships. Moira is twice my age, in case you hadn’t figured it out already. I was very comfortable with the idea, but I think it would take quite some time for Moira to get used to it if something like that were possible for her. Of course, she was probably thinking of a man my age, which, after a while and a glass of wine, sort of appealed to her. I kept teasing her and pointing out good-looking men, and it didn’t matter that they were gay; she enjoyed the window shopping.

After a drink, we left the bar and headed back to our cabin to refresh and kill some time before dinner. On our way back, Moira relived our time at the gay bar, asking me more questions about dating women instead of men. I was honest with her; it doesn’t matter which sex you are; people are individuals, some are better than others, and you just have to find someone who checks all your boxes. Those boxes vary, like mine are being kind, caring, having a sense of humor, a sense of themselves, ethical, along with a few others that you discover as you get to know each other. Moira seemed to understand and was fine with my explanation.

Back at the cabin, we kicked off our shoes and opened the bottle of Pinot, then went out to sit on the back porch to sip and relax. The rear of the cabins overlooks the river, and you can hear the water, birds, and every once in a while, a vehicle on the gravel road that leads to the resort. There were five cabins, and we were in the middle one.

As we sat sipping and talking about how peaceful it was, our neighbors, two ladies who looked like they were in their thirties, walked out onto their porch with wine glasses in their hands. They didn’t notice us sitting, enjoying the solitude, until one of them turned when a woodpecker started making a racket searching for insects in one of the trees near us. She looked over, smiled, and lifted her glass in greeting. The other turned to look over at us, then grinned as she whispered something in her friend’s ear as she lifted her glass.

Both of us smiled, lifting ours, and I said, “Good afternoon.”

They replied in kind, then stood by the railing and began talking with us. Our conversation started off centered on how nice the cabins were and how beautiful the day had been. It slowly progressed to why we were there, with the couple telling us it was their fifth wedding anniversary. They’d stayed in the cabins for their honeymoon and really enjoyed their visit and returned each year to celebrate.

When they asked why we were there, I said it was a long story, which probably wasn’t the best thing to say, because they became more inquisitive. That’s when Moira invited them over to explain, which I thought was fairly bold of her. But, I guess she was comfortable telling complete strangers why we were there. Maybe it was the wine talking, I don’t know.

When the ladies joined us, they brought over their open bottle and offered a refill as I rearranged the chairs to make room for them. Before settling in, we toasted to their anniversary, then sat and started chatting more.

The redhead, whose name was Adele, refilled our glasses from their bottle, since we were drinking Moira’s white. With our glasses full, Moira began telling them about Zoe and me growing up together, then Zoe passing away, and why we were there.

As the ladies listened, I could tell they were on the verge of tears until Moira got to the part where we were celebrating Zoe by scattering her ashes. When Moira finished, our guests, Adele and Janice, the brunette, asked if we could all share hugs. They thought it was a beautiful thing to do and were saddened a bit, but they understood.

So, after hugs all around, we continued getting to know each other. We talked for quite some time, emptying their bottle of wine along with Moira’s in the process. It was getting close to dinner, and the four of us were famished and a little giggly. We decided to have dinner together at one of the Mexican places in town. Janice and Adele loved it, so we told them we’d get ready, meet them out front, and walk with them to the restaurant.

Our new friends departed, leaving Moira and me to get ready for dinner. Not that we needed to do much, but we took turns using the tiny bathroom to freshen up. We lightly touched on how nice Adele and Janice were and that they thought our reason for being there didn’t shock them.

When we walked outside, our neighbors were already waiting for us just outside their cabin. We paused, not wanting to interrupt them because they were standing there making out as they waited. Our footsteps on the gravel path got their attention and broke their embrace, blushing as they did. They apologized, and I told them not to worry about it, which made them smile.

We started walking to the restaurant, and instead of Moira and me walking together, Janice walked with me, and Adele walked with Moira. Janice slowed our pace some, letting Moira and Adele get ahead of us. They were busy talking, not noticing we’d lagged behind. That’s when Janice quietly told me that at first, they thought Moira and I were intimate. I blushed crimson and replied that Moira was very straight and I’m a lesbian, and that we weren’t intimate. Janice apologized and said that their ‘gaydar’ went off when they first saw us, and now she knew why. She also mentioned that we were both attractive and then dropped the subject. I thanked her for the compliment and complimented her on being astute, and that they were both gorgeous. We gradually caught back up with our partners, who were talking about the town and its history.

The restaurant was lovely, and we waited for about ten minutes for a table to open up. The hostess was sweet, taking our drink orders after seating us and dropping off menus. Moira and I opted for water while our two new friends ordered margaritas. We continued chatting away while perusing the menu, with Janice making suggestions since they’d dined there previously when they visited.

I wasn’t too adventurous, ordering a chili relleno, while Moira selected a pozole rojo. Our friends split a pan relleno chicken sandwich. The food was nice, we shared bites just to see how each other’s dishes tasted, and all of them were yummy.

I should have figured out that Adele and Janice were a very handsy and intimate couple when we surprised them earlier, making out as they waited for us. All during dinner as they shared their food, they’d lean over and kiss or at least look into each other’s eyes and compliment each other. They’d feed each other, but in a more intimate and sexy way than Moira and I did with the sashimi in Santa Cruz.

Moira and I would just watch and smile as they showed us how in love they were as we ate our dinners. I thought Moira would say something or at least blush at the couple’s intimacy, but she didn’t say anything or look embarrassed the entire time.

Then, to top it all off, Moira surprised us all by grabbing the check, which was nice of her. After dinner, the four of us strolled around town, then meandered back to the cabins so Moira and I could get Zoe to take us to the bridge. Surprisingly, Adele asked if they could join us. They liked the idea and wanted to share the experience with us even though we’d just met.

Moira contemplated it as we walked. I gave her some space to think about it, not wanting to talk her into something. After about a block of walking, she stopped and told our new friends they were welcome to join us. She said Zoe was a very inclusive person and would like it if they wanted to take part, even though it would be just to watch.

There were hugs and thank-yous galore as we continued our way back to the cabins. The three of us waited outside for Moira to get the envelope, and then we all walked to the bridge. When we reached the middle, Moira stopped and looked out over the rushing water, then slowly removed the envelope from her bag.

Adele and Janice stepped back a few paces and were silent as I stood next to Moira, wrapping my arm around her waist, then whispering that it was time once more to say goodbye. Moira whispered, ‘Thank you’ to me and then reached over the railing to let the envelope drift down to be carried away by the current. It was close to sunset, and we soon lost track of a small envelope containing Zoe in the rapids.

Moira and I were teary-eyed, and when we turned to head back, we noticed our companions were crying. We all hugged and stifled our tears with Adele and Janice saying how moved they were before walking back to town.

After taking a few steps, Adele slipped next to Moira, whispered something, then slipped her arm into Moira’s, and they walked together until the path widened. Once the path widened and it was safe to walk three abreast, Janice moved to the other side of Moira and took her other arm in hers as we continued making our way back to the cabin. I watched, following them as they’d say something to each other now and then. Once we returned to our cabins, we hugged and parted after saying goodnight.

Moira and I returned to our little cabin, turned on the light, and then both sat and gazed out of the sliding glass door into the darkness. Moira seemed a lot quieter than the last two times we said goodbye to Zoe. I asked her if she was okay, and she said she was. She said it was nice that Adele and Janice wanted to join us. I agreed and then told Moira that what we were doing wasn’t as weird as I had thought. That made Moira laugh as she agreed with me.

Out of the blue, Moira asked if I found our new friends attractive. I was initially a little shocked that she’d ask, but I told her I thought that was both very attractive and, if I’d met either one of them under different circumstances, that, yes, I would like to get to know either of them better. Moira smiled and told me she thought they were very nice and that she wasn’t attracted to them intimately, but they were both very lovely.

Our conversation pretty much ended there when Moira got up and prepared for bed. The cabin had two queen beds, and after getting ready for bed, Moira and I hugged goodnight, and she went to bed, leaving me with my thoughts in the dim light.

I sat looking out the sliding glass door for a little bit, thinking about our day. It really had been nice meeting and getting to know Adele and Janice. It also made me wonder if I should get out more and meet someone, and ignore the possibility that whoever I met and dated would end up breaking my heart. I’d been down that road way too many times. However, I saw how happy they were and longed for a relationship like theirs.

After about half an hour, I decided to call it a night. I could hear Moira snoring as I walked past the beds to use the bathroom. When I returned, the room was silent as I crawled into bed and closed my eyes, wondering if I’d ever fall in love.

It was around six when I woke, and the sun was peeking through the tall timber. Moira was still asleep as I got up to use the bathroom. I decided to make myself a cup of coffee and drink it out on the deck while she still slept. The little coffee maker was thankfully quiet, and when my coffee was ready, I stealthily slipped out onto the deck in my shorts and tee. The morning was cool, but not cold enough to wear more than what I had on. I sat down to listen to Mother Nature’s song, which is something I never do at home since I live in a city. As I sat sipping, I could see why Zoe liked this place; it was a great getaway from the city, and I’d have to plan more trips up here with or without Moira.

As I was sitting and thinking, I heard our neighbors’ slider open. I looked over and saw Janice dressed as casually as I was, walking out with her coffee, taking a seat. She looked around, noticing me doing pretty much the same as her. I smiled as she toasted me with her mug. I grinned back, lifting my cup in a return salute. God, she looked good. I didn’t go into a long explanation when Moira asked if I liked our neighbors, because I found them both to be my type. The part of getting to know them was definitely true. I’d even thought about a three-way when she asked, but Moira didn’t ask for details, and I didn’t tell.

I thought about walking over and talking with Janice, but I didn’t want to disturb her quiet time. Within a few moments, out walked Adele with her mug, joining her wife. Janice nodded over at me, and then Adele noticed I was there and mouthed ‘Hello’. I smiled and did the same back, then took another sip and closed my eyes, picturing a slightly different morning with them.

They quietly chatted and sipped their drinks as I smiled with the images running through my mind. It wasn’t long before Janice walked over and whispered good morning to me, not wanting to possibly wake Moira. She asked what we were doing today, and I told her we were going to do the Korbel tour, sightsee, then come back and lounge around since we had a second night here. Janice smiled and asked if they could have my number to stay in touch. She mentioned they lived in Petaluma, which is a little over an hour and a half North of me. She also said Moira and I were welcome to visit anytime because they really liked us both. I thanked her and told her I’d swap numbers with her before we left, and that we liked them also. She said they were here for a couple more nights, and if we felt like it, they’d buy us dinner tonight. I told her that it would be nice and I’d let Moira know of their offer.

Janice didn’t say anything, but she did lick her lips and smile when I said that, which gave me a tingle. Before Janice left, Moira walked out with a coffee and greeted our neighbors before sitting down with me.

I mentioned Janice’s offer, and Moira thanked her, and I said I’d get their numbers before we left. Moira smiled and then sipped her coffee as Janice bid goodbye and went back to Adele and into the cabin.

Moira and I sat sipping and listening to the world wake up. It wasn’t that loud where we were, so we enjoyed it. I did tell her we were invited to dinner, and her eyes lit up as she smiled. I think she really liked them, but was a tad hesitant to get to know them better. I didn’t want to assume anything, and I had no idea if Moira had any acquaintances who were in the LGBTQ+ community. I wasn’t going to pry or push her into anything. I didn’t mind if I was the only lesbian in her world.

When we finished our coffee, Moira and I dressed and then walked into town for breakfast. The tours at Korbel didn’t start until ten-thirty, so we had plenty of time and weren’t in a rush. For breakfast, I had a Denver omelet and Moira had blueberry pancakes, both of which are foods we never make for ourselves, and they were delicious. After eating, we wandered around, walking to the bridge once again and looking out over the river. I asked Moira if she thought Zoe’s ashes from the night before had made it to the ocean by now. She smiled and said they most likely had because the river was flowing pretty swiftly.

I grinned and told her that she was probably right and that it was a silly question. Moira smiled and said it wasn’t, then took my hand in hers. She told me once again how much she appreciated me being there with her. I blushed and said there really wasn’t any other place I’d rather be and that I was enjoying our little excursions.

Our next stop was the Korbel tour. It was okay; I learned a little about champagne and had a taste, but it didn’t really do anything for me.

After our tour, we made our way back to the cabin and dressed for a little day hike, filled our water bottles, and packed some snacks. The trail that we were going to hike was the Pomo Red Hill Loop. It’s a little over four miles, and the views were supposed to be spectacular. The drive was about twenty-six miles, just a little past Jenner, the town we’d visited the day before on the coast.

Once there, we took our time, stopping after the first uphill climb for a short break. The rest of the trail was indeed scenic. Moira mentioned that if I wanted to, we could hike Mount Tamalpais and spread more of Zoe’s ashes in a week or two. I told her I’d love that and to let me know when she planned on going.

We strolled back to my car and then had lunch once again in Jenner. Since it was such a nice day, we walked along the beach and took our time getting back to the cabin. When we returned to the cabin, we noticed Adele and Janice lounging on the back deck. They were in bikinis and looking oh so yummy. I didn’t say anything to Moira, but I wished I’d been there alone to join them. Just looking at them got me into a frisky mood. Unfortunately, I’d have to wait until I got home to do anything about that.

We said hello to our neighbors, and they invited us over to lounge with them. They were sipping wine coolers this time and relaxing from their hike. We didn’t change into bathing suits, but we did have a drink with them as we all talked about our day sightseeing and hiking.

If I didn’t know any better, I’d have sworn both our new friends were subtitling flirting with Moira. Well, maybe more like fawning over her, and mostly Adele. They wanted to know more about Zoe; of course, they were polite, asking if it was okay to talk about her, and Moira was delighted to answer their questions. They asked me a few questions, and they never got too personal.

We sat sipping, talking, laughing, and having a great time until around six, when we all decided it was time to get ready for dinner. Back to our cabin, Moira and I went, changing our clothes and talking about how much fun Adele and Janice were. Moira confessed she was glad the ladies asked about Zoe; they seemed to really care and felt like it was helpful to her to talk about Zoe’s life. I told her I was glad she was feeling good; it made me feel good, too.

Then Moira surprised me, she asked, “Were Adele and Janice flirting with me? I know they were really sweet, and obviously, they prefer women, but they were kinda touchy and silly. I didn’t mind it. I mean, they were nice, I just don’t know how women flirt.”

I responded with a smile and, “I think it was a little of both. I don’t know how much they’d had to drink before we joined them, and they were more touchy than usual. I have no clue about how they live, so I don’t want to guess, Moira. You’re a very attractive woman, so their flirting with you isn’t surprising. Have you never been flirted with by another woman?”

Moira blushed as she said, “Well, if I had been, I wouldn’t have recognized it. You really think I’m attractive, Alexis? I have been hit on by men recently, I think I told you that. But, a woman? Nah, I think not.”

I smiled and told her, “Yes, you’re very attractive, Moira. You’re sweet, smart, caring, and lots of other good things. I don’t know why you haven’t been flirted with a whole lot. I think maybe you just mistook someone being nice as just that, being nice and not flirting.”

Moira shrugged her shoulders and laughed, “Well, if they were, I’m flattered, and thank you for thinking this old lady is attractive, Alexis.”

I replied, “You’re far from old, Moira. Let’s finish getting dressed and see where Adele and Janice want to take us. If they are flirting, just enjoy the attention. I would.”

We dressed and freshened up, then met our neighbors out in front of the cabins, and the four of us walked downtown to one of the better restaurants, with Adele and Moira taking the lead. We were promptly seated by a very handsome server. The dinner menu was excellent, we started with a nice white wine and oysters on the half shell. When it came to dinner, I ordered a Thai-style pork shoulder while Moira opted for the seared black cod. Janice and Adele debated sharing again, but Janice wanted a steak while Adele was in the mood for chicken. When our dinners arrived, they looked and smelled delicious. So, once more, we sampled each other’s dinner, which was fun and yummy.

When we’d finished, Adele thought about dessert, but we were all too full. Our friends got the check, and we had a nice walk around Guerneville before going back to the cabins. Returning to the cabins, Adele insisted we come over for a nightcap. We weren’t that tired, so we joined them after using our own bathroom. When we joined them on the deck, Janice poured a nice pinot noir, and we hung out sipping and talking.

Actually, we kinda paired off, Moira and Adele seated by the little table on the deck, while Janice and I stood at the railing looking out into the woods, as we sipped and talked. Now and then, I’d look over and notice Adele had amped up her flirting. She was gently touching Moira’s arm or her hand while they talked. I had to smile to myself when I saw Moira enjoying the attention and not pulling away or showing any discomfort.

Janice was also doing her share of flirting with me, touching, leaning in to whisper naughty little tidbits about how she’d love to get me alone for an hour or two. I was definitely feeling the tingles, but while telling Janice I’d love to, I couldn’t just abandon Moira. Janice joked that if Adele had her way, Moira wouldn’t even notice I’d left. That made me giggle and blush, which Janice noticed and commented on how cute it looked on me.

However, it wasn’t long after that little exchange that Moira finished her wine and announced that she was heading back to our cabin and to bed. I reluctantly said I should go also, so we thanked our hostesses, hugged, and went back to our place, much to the disappointment of our new friends.

Right after closing the slider to our deck, Moira giggled like a schoolgirl. I asked, “What’s so funny?”

Moira smiled, then said, “Oh gosh, Adele was full on flirting with me. I couldn’t believe she was that bold. Was Janice flirting with you also? I saw you blush a couple of times, sweetie.”

I smiled and, of course, blushed as I replied, “Yes, she was. I noticed you fidgeting as Adele was touching you now and then. You didn’t look like you minded, Moira.”

Moira blushed as she replied, “No, I didn’t mind. I took your advice and just enjoyed her attention. It was so different coming from a woman. A much younger woman, too, but she’s married. That’s something I don’t think I could deal with even if I was into women.”

I smiled and replied, “I think they both know what the other is doing, and they’re okay with it. I don’t judge, but I get what you’re saying. I’m glad you enjoyed her attention. They’re both lovely.”

Then Moira got a mischievous look on her face as she asked, “Would you bed Janice? What if they both wanted you, Alexis? Have you done that sort of thing?”

I thought momentarily, then said, “I would with Janice as long as it wasn’t a secret and Adele knew. I also wouldn’t mind being with both of them at the same time. It sounds kinky, but with the right couple, it can be amazing, Moira. Especially when you’re the center of attention.”

Moira’s eyes widened as she said, “Well, it’s not for me, sweetie. I guess it would be something special with two others, but I’d prefer them to be men.”

I laughed, they said, “You DO have a naughty mind, Moira. I think that’s great! I never would have pictured you thinking like that.”

Moira laughed as she said, “Well, maybe I do, sometimes. It’s rare, believe me.”

I smiled and moved closer to her and quickly kissed her cheek, then headed to the bathroom to get ready for bed.

When I finished, it was Moira’s turn, so I slipped into bed, lying on my side away from her and waiting for the light to go out. When she finished and got into bed, Moira said goodnight, and I wished her the same.

It was around seven when I woke, a little later than I normally wake up, but I was on vacation, kinda. I could hear Moira softly snoring as I rolled over to look at her. I smiled, then eased out of bed to use the bathroom, and then back, debating on making coffee. Just as I settled back into bed, Moira groggily said good morning and asked if I’d slept well. I told her I had to as she got up and used the bathroom.

Since I was wide awake, I decided to make coffee. After doing that, I opened the curtains on the slider. It was going to be a gorgeous day, and I wished we could stay longer, but I had commitments to deal with. Moira exited the bathroom and joined me, looking out into the woods. She commented she’d love to stay longer, which I agreed with.

When the coffee was ready, I poured two cups as we talked about where to go for breakfast. There were a couple of places we’d seen that we wanted to try, so after finishing our coffee and getting dressed, we wandered downtown. As we left our cabin, we noticed Adele and Janice’s car was missing. We figured they were off on their adventures, having a good time and enjoying the area as much as we had.

The restaurant wasn’t that busy, so we were quickly seated. Our server was adorable, and as much as I tried to get Moira to flirt with her for practice, Moira just wouldn’t. She did compliment the girl several times, which was a nice effort, but Moira wasn’t that confident about it, and of course, it was a female she was dealing with, so that made her slightly uncomfortable.

All in all, it was a nice breakfast, and we did leave our server a decent tip. Afterward, we strolled around town one last time. Our route took us back to the bridge, where we stood in silence for a few moments. When Moira was ready to leave, I got another of her lovely hugs. This one lasted longer than any of the previous ones, and when we broke, both of us were on the verge of tears. After a few seconds getting our composure back, we gradually made our way back to the cabin, holding hands.

Once there, we packed, then drove back through Santa Rosa, then stopped in Sonoma to buy a couple of bottles of wine from the wineries we’d toured a few days before. Our lunch stop was in Napa, and by the time we finished, we decided it was going to be too much of a bother for me to drive home in the rush hour traffic. So, Moira offered me the sofa or her bed for the night.

The reason I was offered her bed was that she’d turned the other smaller bedrooms into a study and a craft room. I picked Moira’s bed since we shared one in Santa Cruz without any problems. Plus, Moira really needed a new sofa, and I’d seen the one she had, and it looked very uncomfortable to sleep on.

Once at Moira’s house, she unpacked and had me give her my dirty laundry so she could wash and have a full load. I thanked her and offered to buy dinner since we were both a little tired, and since she was doing my laundry.

Dinner was nice, delivered Chinese. We opened one of our Sonoma bottles to go with our orders, and of course, we shared the food. We talked about the weekend and about heading to Mount Tamalpais in the next few weeks. We also discussed our new friends and whether Moira would actually want to know them better. She was on the fence about it because of the flirting. She didn’t want to ruin my chances with them; she’d just play it by ear and see what happened.

We didn’t stay up too late, just until my laundry was done in the dryer, which was about ten o’clock. Then we both got ready for bed and slipped between the sheets, and said goodnight.

I was just about asleep when I felt the bed move, and Moira whispered in my ear, “Alexis, can I ask you a question?”

Without moving, I replied, “Mmmhmm, ask away.”

Moira cleared her throat and asked, “Did you mean it when you said I was attractive and desirable or whatever you said the other night?”

I rolled over to face her and could make out the features of her face in the dimly lit room. I quietly replied, “Yes, Moira, I did. I’ve always thought that about you. I just never said anything because you’re Zoe’s mother.”

She responded, “But if I wasn’t, you’d still think that?”

I giggled, “Yes, Moira, I would, and I do.”

Moira replied, “Thank you, sweetie.”

Moira snuggled closer, and I could feel her lean over and kiss me on the lips. It was brief but sweet, and it surprised me.

I asked, “What was that for Moira?”

She replied, “I don’t know. I just felt like kissing you, that’s all. I’ve always liked you, too. Did I do something wrong?”

I giggled and said, “No, nothing wrong, I just wish it were a longer kiss, that’s all. I’ve been wanting to kiss you for so long, but I was afraid you’d hate me or something if I did. It was a sweet kiss, Moira. Thank you.”

Moira was hesitant when she asked, “So, if you had kissed me, it would have been longer?”

I smiled, not knowing if Moira could see it or not, and replied, “Yes, long, slow, passionate. The kind of kiss that leaves you yearning for more, Moira. I love kissing that way, and that’s how I would kiss you if I could.”

More silence, and as I waited for a reply. I could feel the bed move slightly, and I thought I heard a soft sigh before Moira said, “Do you think if we kissed like that, our relationship would change? I mean, it’s just a kiss. I know I wouldn’t become a lesbian or anything like that. But, if it’s just one kiss, why do you think I’d hate you?”

I replied, “Well, maybe not hate, I don’t know. I’d want you to like it, and that would lead to making love, and I didn’t want to cross that line with you. I don’t want to lose you as a friend, Moira.”

Moira replied, “Oh, okay. But I don’t think I could ever hate you, sweetie. Thank you for being honest with me.”

With that, she rolled over, and so did I. It was awkward, and it took me a while to try and get it out of my head. When I thought I was falling asleep again, Moira moved back towards me and asked if I was asleep. I replied I wasn’t, so Moira told me to kiss her.

I said, “What?!”

Moira replied, “Kiss me and let’s get this over with. I can’t get back to sleep now, Alexis. It’s all I’m thinking about. You are kissing me, and Adele is flirting with me. I’m just so conflicted. Kiss me and let’s be done with this.”

Stifling a purr, I moved closer to her. We were face-to-face, and I could see her looking at me. She had kind of a curious look mixed with one of anticipation.

I whispered, “Moira, I’m going to kiss you. If you don’t like it, we’ll stop and never speak of this again. But, I’m hoping you’ll like it, and well, we’ll see what happens, okay?”

Moira was obviously nervous when she replied, “Okay, kiss me, and we’ll see what happens, Alexis. Don’t be mad if I don’t like it, please.”

No words were spoken as I moved over her to gently press my lips against hers. When they met, I felt tension and apprehension in Moira’s lips. As we continued and I began teasing her lips with my tongue, the uncertainty Moira had felt when we began slowly started evaporating. I knew she hadn’t been kissed like this in years, so I took my time and was extremely gentle with her. It wasn’t within seconds, but within a few minutes, Miora began relaxing and moaning. Her arm wrapped around me, holding me in place, and then one leg slipped over mine to grip me tighter.

I could feel Moira’s tongue pushing at my lips, so I parted them and allowed her to enter my mouth and explore. Her tongue met mine, and the dancing began. We continued like that, breathing into each other’s mouths as we kissed. I could feel our saliva sneaking out of her mouth and down her chin. But I heard no complaints.

Moira was obviously starved for affection, and I was more than happy to feed her all she desired.

Moira was moaning into my mouth when my lips left hers. I didn’t wait for her to say anything as I moved to the nape of her neck to continue kissing and licking as she squirmed. Her right hand, which was wrapped around me, was joined by her left, coaxing me to move on top of her. Both her hands massaged my lower back and down to my ass cheeks, where they pressed harder into my cheeks.

Her reactions to my kissing thrilled me. I moved from her neck back to her lips, kissing her passionately once again. After a few moments of making out with her, I left her lips and moved to kiss her shoulder. I kept moving around her upper body with my affection, kissing her warm skin and purring now and then while returning to her lips as I gradually moved to her breasts.

Moira’s nipples felt like pebbles through the flimsy material of her nightshirt. My mouth latched onto her right breast despite it being covered and began to suckle while my hand caressed the other, rubbing it while toying with her nipple.

Moira’s moans became audible words, encouraging me to keep going. I moved down her mature body, and when I started to lift the hem of her shirt, Moira sat up and looked at me. She didn’t say a thing as she reached down and pulled her top up and over her head, then tossed it aside and lay back down. Then she said, “Is that better, sweetie?”

I smiled, replying, “Mmmm. Yes, ma’am. Much better.”

Moving back, I returned to suckle and devour her full, soft breasts, paying special attention to her nipples. Moira was in heaven as I continued playing to my heart’s content. I bit, nursed, and toyed with them using my fingers, and simply enjoyed feeling them in my mouth. I debated leaving them and moving further down her a few times. But I stayed put, enjoying her reactions. When it seemed like I had her close to the edge, I’d back off just enough that Moira would place her hands on my head and nudge me back. We did this several times until I decided to test the waters, so to speak, and see if Moira would let me go down on her.

Starting by kissing under her breasts, I moved down her tummy, then around her navel. Moira wasn’t ticklish, so swirling my tongue around it didn’t bother her. In fact, she enjoyed it so much that I stayed there longer than I had anticipated. But when I kissed her further, Moira seemed to get a little hesitant.

I looked up at her and saw she was busy kneading her breasts and pinching her nipples, so I figured it was my imagination. My kissing and licking moved further down and between her legs and over her panties. Her inner thighs were the first areas I enjoyed, softly kissing each side, then around to her tummy and back down the other leg.

My position was a little awkward for the next place I wanted to be, and Moira’s panties were still covering what I craved. So, I changed my position to where I was kneeling next to her. Slipping my fingers into the waistband of her panties, I started inching them down when Moira bent her knees and lifted her ass to help.

She worked them off, not saying a word, then tossed them aside, spreading her legs, waiting for me. I whispered, “Thank you,” then moved between her legs, bent down, and returned to kissing and licking her inner thighs. Taking my time, I toyed with her, never actually putting my tongue inside, just tracing around her pubic area, still expecting Moira to stop me. I guess she was feeling too good to halt my progress, so after a few more minutes of licking and kissing around her pussy, I eased myself down in front of her.

Resting my head against her thigh, I started licking her full, mature bush. I pictured it having blonde and grey hair, which in my mind made her sexier than just being blonde. Using my right hand, I placed it next to her vagina as I used my tongue to slowly swipe up from the bottom, covering all those soft, moist pubes.

Moira’s musk was intoxicating, and I was drunk with lust as my tongue eased between her lips and into her warm, moist folds.

Moira’s reaction was a clearly audible gasp as my tongue explored every centimeter of her. Her clit was easy to find, hard, and swollen, begging me to play with it. It was my pleasure to be her first, and I was going to make the most of it. I’d fantasized about Moira when I was younger, and now that fantasy was coming true.

Moira squirmed, moaned, and cooed as I was pleasuring her. She never said a word the entire time I was making love to her. When she reached her climax, she froze, then spasmed and rocked the bed. As she was erupting, I moved my head away from her, not knowing how she’d react, and I didn’t want my head to get crushed. I did massage her legs as best I could until the euphoric waves eventually passed and she calmed down, relaxed, and sated.

When it was all over, Moira asked me to snuggle with her. I rejoined her, softly kissed her neck, and didn’t say a word.

It took a few minutes for Moira to say something, and it was the sweetest thing. She said she hadn’t had an orgasm that intense in the last twenty-something years. I almost giggled, but I didn’t want to ruin the mood. Moira also thanked me and then asked me to wash my face so she could kiss me. I didn’t argue, because some women don’t want to taste themselves on their lips. So, off to the bathroom I went and washed my face. I even squirted a little toothpaste in my mouth and swished it around to cleanse my breath for her. Then back to bed for a sweet thank you kiss.

Moira and I lay awake for a little longer, snuggled together, basking in her glow. She remained silent until she fell asleep. I guessed tomorrow we’d talk about it or not. However, I now had a fantasy realized, and I was happy.
