When Love Becomes More Of A Dream Than A Reality

I’ve been there, and it’s sad.
When a relationship runs aground.
It got to the point of dreaming about making love with my significant other.
Yet, they would rather be inebriated.
So, I stopped talking about it, and I didn’t bring it up anymore.
You then come to realize, that the two aren’t in a relationship anymore.
You’re living through a cohabitational like trance and going through the motions with the emotions.
Then for me, in wanting to be intimate with my significant other from time to time…
Would just go about numbing my desire for her each day.
And then finally, it was gone.
