I see stars and galaxies
twinkling
sparkling
swirling
above you
as you kiss my shoulder.
You would think I would close my eyes
but I cannot.
As I feel your mouth move down my body–
pausing at my breasts to bite and suck on pierced nipples
made gloriously sensitive by your ministrations–
my mind and heart join the universe
as it sings
and pulses
and beats in wild abandon.
My hands hold your head to my aching body
and I feel the movement of your face
as you smile in subtle satisfaction.
You are well aware of the effect
of your mouth
and your touch.
My mind races as your tongue dips
into my wet and pulsing core.
It is searching for words
like a captive who knows she must learn the native language
as quickly as possible or be devoured by those who already speak it.
Moans break from my throat but it is too late.
I cry out as you leave my body
but then you grab my ankle
and pull me to the edge of the bed.
Kneeling between my legs
you begin the feast again.
My heart beats wildly against the stars
as you bite
and suck
and drink
every drop of love I have to give.
Your body suddenly blocks my view
as you share the love on your mouth
and press yourself against my body.
I suddenly and joyfully realize
that your heart is also
beating wildly against the stars
and we are one.
